Nailsea & Backwell Under 12’s played Old Bristolians in what was a very balanced match with some great rugby played by both sides.
The first match was drawn 3 tries to 3 and both sides were able to build sustained pressure when they had possession with very few mistakes being made.
The second game was won by Old Bristolians 4 tries to 1, three of the tries coming from ripping the ball from N&B players and moving it quickly to break away. The Nailsea & Backwell try was scored by Alfie in only his second competitive game for the club.
Play was stopped at 11am and everyone gathered outside the clubhouse for a moving service and minutes silence which was welcomed by all.
