Match Report – Nailsea and Backwell vs St Brendan’s/Lockleaze RFC
Date – 9/12/2018
Location – Lockleaze RFC
Nailsea and Backwell Under 12’s played a combined St Brendan’s and Lockleaze team away from home on Sunday and got back to winning ways!
The game started with some searching kicks into Ravens territory which were dealt with and turned into solid attacking platforms. The first game was won by Nailsea and Backwell 6 tries to 0.
The St Brendan’s team came out fighting in the second game and kept the ball in hand to try and wear the N&B defence down. The young Raven’s remained disciplined and managed to retain their shape and repelled all attempts winning the second game 4 tries to 0.
This was a great team effort where a lot of training came together and is a good way to finish prior to Christmas. Tries were scored by Luke, Alfie George W, George B, Ben and Sonny. Man of the match was Alex in his first competitive game after returning to rugby.
Up The Ravens!
