On 30 October, the N&B Mini-Midis played a club fixture against @Kingswood. This update is the match report from the Under 10's Fixture - Up The Ravens!

Great third game of the season at home against our evenly matched opposition Kingswood U10s. There was a good turnout from the Ravens with 21 players attending allowing us to have 2 teams of 8 with rotating subs.

N&B showed great determination playing in difficult weather conditions with wind, rain and low sunshine. Despite this N&B demonstrated good positioning, passing and championed a number of two-on-one tries.

The young Ravens showed great skill landing some good tackles, squeezing their defences. The teams developing ruck and mauling skills created some fantastic breakdowns and opportunities for some running in open play leading to some great tries.

The coaches were proud of the good team sportsmanship demonstrated throughout with their team communication during gameplay, listening to the ref and thanking the opposition at the end of the game.

As always, there are things to work on, but the coaches looking forward to developing the kids skills on the training pitch next week!

N&B Junior section offers from Reception Year, to Under 18's for boys and girls. If your child is interested in giving the game a try at a fantastic club, please contact JuniorChair@NailseaBackwellRFC.co.uk.
