The club has recently been successful in getting planning permission granted for a new set of floodlights on the 3rd pitch at the club.
In a joint venture with the RFU, we will see a new set of floodlights being erected around the third pitch, which will enable the club to rotate the use of the pitches for midweek training. In turn, this will lead to less cancellation of midweek training and an increased participation across the season.
Whilst the exact date for installation is not yet confirmed, we expect work to start at the end of January or early February.
This is a great step forward, and shows that the investment both the RFU and club are committed to in order to increase the playing facilities at the club.
