Nailsea & Backwell RFC are looking for a new Junior Lead Coach, who is ambitious and enthusiastic, with a love for rugby, to work predominantly with our U18s Age Grade squad.
The role will require the Lead Coach to be;
- responsible for delivery of team coaching sessions and specialist coaching to support the development of U18 players.
- working with Senior Coaching Team to facilitate the development of U18 players and long term success.
- ensuring there is a seamless transition for U18s going into Senior rugby.
- maintaining squad and team discipline on and off the field to the highest standards.
- promoting the best interests of Nailsea & Backwell RFC at all times, including the promotion of the RFU Core Values.
Skills
- ability to deliver high level coaching.
- technical and tactical knowledge.
- understanding and experience in working with young people.
- creative and innovative thinker.
- effective mentoring skills.
- excellent motivator of people.
- commitment to education and continuing professional development.
RFU Level 2 or ERCA equivalent required, ERCA preferable. RFU Level 3 or working towards desirable.
